Sussex Ash & Walnut GTS. #031

A one off build for the Holy Grail Guitar show’s “Local woods Challenge”. The aim to build a guitar from locally sourced woods.

This GTS was made of Sussex Ripple Ash grown a few miles from the workshop as well as the English Walnut cap. The sycamore wave inlays that run through the fretboard and the body also local. The fretboard is made of Bog Oak, a little further afield, certified 5000 years old! Veneered with red dyed sycamore to add a something a little different too.

Fitted with British hand wound pickups from Bare Knuckle and a 5 way Rotary this GTS has all the tonal options as the std GTS & GTO’s.
