The GTO Model – The All-Rounder – James Collins Guitars

THE JAMES COLLINS GTO MODEL

The James Collins GTO guitar model is the result of decades of experience as a player, repairman and guitar maker.

Based of a double-cut body design made from mahogany the guitar features a semi hollow construction but without a separate centre block. Instead the mahogany body is routed out leaving a solid central part in which the electronics are mounted.

The GTO features a mahogany neck with a laminated stringer for strength. This stringer runs the length of the entire guitar.

We use OGEE Pickups Speak Easy humbuckers as standard but other options are available – as is pretty much any custom switching you can imagine including baritones, blow switches, coil taps etc.
